Good news!!!

To whom it may concern..... I am saving up for a camera.... My best friend, Linda, will let me borrow hers. But I still also have my cell phone. Although I am not interested in becoming a photographer or anything, I love taking random pictures of life-related randomness... And so, I will continue to share... Also, a good friend of mine is sending me a video camera she doesn't use. I will be sure to put that to good use soon. :)

That's not gum, silly!

Back when we went to Black Ink, there was a gumball machine in the corner... I wanted a piece of gum. Why not? It's there.... staring at me. So, I do what any normal person in this predicament would do. I put a quarter in the slot and turned the dial. YAY! I noticed that the gumball was a bit light.... and didn't really pay attention to how it felt. I'm not gonna lie... I almost put it in my mouth when I realized that it's a ping pong ball. Seriously... a ping pong ball machine? I didn't think ping pong balls were in such a demand that one would benefit from a dispenser for them. They are so very important. I will admit, however, that it was beyond clever of them to disguise it as a gumball machine! I hope I don't fall for it again! :) I still think it's a bit pointless to have a ping pong ball dispenser, but then again, it IS Black Ink after all! Should I leave you here in suspense, wondering if I ever got my gumball? I think not. Fortunately....... a couple months later (the other night, actually), I got my gumball! I know it's a bit pointless, but I got a piece of gum from a gumball machine. It was white, like the ping pong ball Linda pulled out of her bag (I wonder why she still had it haha). I know it makes no sense, but I like to amuse myself. I snapped a picture of both....because I can. Judge me if you want because I know I don't have much of a life. But yes, It was somewhat amusing. It's a shame.... it lasted me about 10 minutes... but it was worth it. :) Well, I don't get where people get off on filling gumball machines with pointless objects. Who uses ping pong balls? Beer pong, yes, but people usually buy the variety pack for that... Well, I haven't posted in a couple of days (not that anyone's really reading.... follow me if you are!) so here's another random post!!! :D

Hypocrisy... and no photography...

The following image frightens me:
These creep me out a little bit. By a little bit, I mean, these things give me nightmares. That lame 1000 piece puzzle right next to it looks slightly more appealing. Black Ink is kinda interesting.... By the way... no photography. I learned that the hard way...... A strange flamboyant kid wearing tight cut-off jeans and a plaid overshirt (plaid is still in?) told me no pictures... I wouldn't be as bitter about it if one of the employees there told me... but no, this kid (who, might I add, is casually snapping away photos on his cell phone with one of the employees) tells me sternly "No photography!" Why? I don't know. Did I listen? I think not. It's that irritating "do as I say and not as I do" nonesense. No one gets special treatment, buddy! And if you're qualified for it, thenI most certainly am overqualified! :) I'm tempted to go back and take more pictures just until they catch me. Nevertheless, it's an interesting place... Employees' friends could use some work. :)

Are you Mystic Rosa...?

Hey people! Ok, So I found this picture we took in Harvard Square and decided to reminisce. So, I hope you enjoy the story. (YAY!! STORY TIME!!!) Anyways, so my best friend and I went to Harvard Square to kill the day a couple months back. Well, we scheduled out everything! We were going to go to FiRE and iCE (wicked expensive, except on Mondays, but SOOO amazing!) and we were going to see Mystic Rosa, get some boba tea, and check out a few stores. (Hidden Sweets is epic!). So, the boba tea place was closed, go figure... We got lost and didn't get to check out as much as we wanted. We spend $42 on FiRE and iCE, but we got a sundae and...IT...WAS....AWESOME!!!!!
Now, for the fun part. We went searching for Mystic Rosa... 99 Mount Auburn Street. It was my 2nd time in Harvard Square and she hasn't been in quite a while... and we're both pretty bad with maps and directions. (After walking around, I know Harvard Square practically by heart now... YAY!!!) I believe it was sorta more on JFK street, kind of, which threw us off. (Eventually, we found it... we ended up passing it like 20 times... go figure! haha) We went up and down Mt. Auburn to find it and we saw this door at the bottom of a stairway. We literally debated over whether or not to knock and see if that was Mystic Rosa. I mean, come on! Who puts a suspicious fox face thing on a door? You have to admit, it's very Mystic Rosa-y. So now we wonder who owns that building... what's it for? Who resides there?! And most importantly.... How many times do they get knocks from strange people asking "Are you Mystic Rosa?" "Are you Mystic Rosa now?".... It's a very suspicious door! :) Harvard is a very interesting place. We spend about 15 minutes next to that door. Actually, we went back and hung out on the stairwell there a couple weeks later with a couple more friends. It's kinda our thing now! haha. (We did other things, yes... but the suspicious stairway is an important landmark to us!!! :D)
Well, We finally found Mystic Rosa, but she wasn't there.... We made an appointment the next time we went. I'll post later about our next trip and our visit with Mystic Rosa. It's kind of funny and kinda ironic in a way. More to come later!
Peace everyone!

Just a few random thoughts...

I just want to say a few things. I include pictures in some of my posts. I don't like using random pictures people find on the Internet. All of the pictures (and possibly videos) I may use on here have been taken by me. I'm huge on photography, but it's not a big part of my life. I do take pictures of anything I find odd or humorous. Many of my posts will probably be an elaboration on a picture. I'll specify if what I am using is not mine. Also.... the photo used in the section with my blog title and whatnot was taken by me as well. :) I like taking awesome random pictures. :)

There is also a "Follow" button on the the side bar. If this blog interests you, feel free to share it and follow it...whatever that means. And also, feel free to comment on anything if you so desire. I will respond. I'm kinda new to the blog scene... So, I am going to talk somewhat "professionally" i guess is the word I'm looking for. That'll change soon enough. :)

Well anyway, I look forward to hearing from people. Feel free to leave your opinions on anything. I'm out for the night.

Instant Rehab

If only.... I wish there was a way to take some rehab like this. I can think of quite a few people this will benefit. These breath sprays make really cool collectibles. My favorite is "Instant Accept The Fact That You're Aging Breath Spray." It will make a nice gift for my mom. haha. No, That's mean.... But there's a nice selection of these around various places. This particular one I got from Joie de Vivre in Porter. I feel like I haven't been there enough yet. Actually, I haven't left home in quite a while. I broke my ankle a little over a month ago and have a little less than a month left before I can walk again. I wish they made a breath spray for that! Anyway, they installed this nifty new plate! They're all the rage...... I've been immobile and can't wait to get back on both of my feet! Off topic, yes, but I'm random like that. Anyway, this lovely woman on the package is, well...lovely. I don't know whether it's the skull necklace and the tattoos or the baggie and the "I Bake Pot Cookies" button that make her so desirable, but I think I speak for us all when I say that this woman is AMAZING!!! I don't do drugs, so "Instant Rehab for Professional Drunks and Druggies" is not for me. And I never knew that baking pot cookies was a big thing... I mean, browies, obviously (I, myself, was almost tricked into eating one...never eat party brownies unless you expect some substance!), but cookies? News to me, but sounds a lot less amazing than brownies. You must be a real druggie to take cookies over brownies... "Do YOU remember what you did last night?" I think I just overkilled this elaboration on the picture. I'll end my post here.

Joie de Vivre

I live in Massachusetts. It has a few interesting places you can visit. If you ever go to Porter, I would suggest going into Lesley University, grab a boba tea from Tapicha (You have to try lychee! nothing compares!!! with boba and coconut jelly!), and head over to Tokai. Well, if you're into really cool, fun, and interesting oriental items, Tokai is a really awesome place to go! Lesley seems like a mainly Asian place... good food and fun people (except one restaurant... but I'll rant on that later). I'll elaborate more on Tokai and Lesley in the future. My favorite place in Porter is actually kinda across the street from Lesley. Joie de Vivre! It's a really fun store!!!! I mean, it just has interesting things there. Really fun, interesting things!!!!! Throughout life, there are so many awesome things I've seen... I realized that I need a camera with me at all times. I'm so lame, taking pictures of random stuff haha. This one, I just thought was really cute in a humorous sorta way. I really do want one. :) Joie de Vivre, I believe, roughly translates to "Joy of Everything." I must say, this place lives up to its name. I will post smaller posts later about things from this place... give my opinion and whatnot. I hope you also noticed the nose cups. I don't know what point those will make, but people are gonna buy them anyway! They're just really silly. I love em! If you're ever in Boston, take a trip over to Porter Square! It's worth it.

And to start things off...

Ok... So, this is my first post. For introduction. I'm Anthony... This is my blog. I don't know what to expect from this-- random craziness that I come across, random pictures I take for personal entertainment... oh and ranting. I'm sure there will be a nice array of rants against anything really. Just anything I can really elaborate on.
Well, I think that's everything... for now at least.
